Elmhurst Patch has received word from a witness that a motorcycle collided with a car at about 10 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at the intersection of St. Charles and Monterey, just one block west of Route 83, in Villa Park.

The witness, Jake Eleniewski, said the motorcycle rider was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital at around 10 p.m. and was in critical condition.

Few details are available. A representative at the Villa Park police department on Sunday afternoon said there are no police detectives available to speak about the accident and police reports must be obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests, which take about five days to process.

Elmhurst Patch filed a FOIA request and will update this story as more information becomes available.
