Man With Suspended License Says He Drives 3 Times a Week, Maybe More: Cops

The Chicago man also didn't have a front license plate or insurance, police said.

A Chicago man pulled over and found to be driving on a suspended license told the cops he takes his car out for a spin three times a week if not even more often, police said.

Martavious Thurman, 34, of 145 N. Long Ave. was stopped shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday near the corner of Ferndale and North avenues.

Thurman turned out to be driving on a suspended license, police said.

"He was arrested, processed at the station and released on bond," according to police, who said Thurman was chatty about his driving habits.

"He said he drives the car three times a week and sometimes more," police said.

Thurman also was cited for allegedly having no front license plate or insurance.
