Here's hoping he'll cross the train tracks when the gates haven't shut completely off or commit a lane violation on Route 83 in the wee hours of Saturday or Sunday morning then he might get caught.

Or maybe he will finally attract some police attention by failing to fasten his seatbelt........ LOL

Or have an expired city sticker while parked at the Jewel on Palmer Drive......

Or maybe try to water his lawn if a resident, and get a ticket for doing it on the wrong day....or get ticketed for not having a license for his dog.

Amen people....why all these unsolved robberies and crimes....yet be sure you don't park in 10 minute parking for eleven minutes because they will get you. How bout patrolling our neighborhoods?!?

Amen people? Really? How about thinking like an adult and realizing while yall are tucked away in your comfy Elmhurst homes, the police are out there dealing with the scum of the world, drunk drivers, doped up @%s Holes and yes, simple parking and traffic violations. Get over it. The police are way, way out numbered and simply can't be sitting in front of every store or gas station waiting for Mr. or Mrs. Offender to show up. The crime took merely seconds to committ and poof, he's into the darkness. EPD is good. They'll get this guy.

Time will tell. Let's see how long it takes them to catch this guy. Oh, and what about those TCF Bank robbers? They're still out there somewhere.

I agree with you but I don't know if we as just citizen's can do anything to stop that practice. IRead More wish that each cyclist had to have a license, and that it was enforced by laws and police, on the bike so that people could report occurrences and have the person receive a ticket just like a person driving an auto. That would make sense.

A couple of years ago, Villa Park installed "State Law- must stop for pedestrians" signsRead More on the roadways where the Great Western and Prairie Paths cross. I saw a big increase in path users barreling across the streets with no regard for the stop signs on the path.

I was really hoping that the Elmhurst Police would sound in on this info-I do understand kids willRead More be kids, but if one of them is hurt, that adult driver will need to live with that for the rest of their life-so let's come up with a solution for both bicyclist and cars to be in harmony. I really think that a step up in enforcement in the bicycle laws would help-just like the drunk driving laws-believe me the bicycle laws are just as important.
