Man Ordered Out of Elmhurst Bar Takes to Dance Floor, Gets Arrested: Cops

A Bensenville man's decision to hit the dance floor got him arrested, police said.

A Bensenville man was arrested for allegedly hitting the dance floor while the cops were trying to usher him out of an Elmhurst bar.

Daniel Granados, 21, of 219 N. Marhsall Road was charged with trespassing and resisting or obstructing a police officer in connection with the early Sunday morning incident at the South York Street bar the Snuggery.

Officers were reportedly sent to the Snuggery shortly before 1 a.m. to investigate a report of people refusing to leave the bar.

Four people were "asked to leave after swearing and being belligerent to one of the bartenders," police said. "While escorting subjects out, (Granados) went back to the dance floor. He was instructed by (an officer) to leave the bar and refused. Granados was placed under arrest."

Granados was also issued a notice banning him from the Snuggery.
