The 18-year-old is being held on $2,000 bond.

An 18-year-old Lombard man is being held on $2,000 bond Friday after being accused of downloading child pornography, police said.

Jacob Primas, of the 200 block of South Brewster Street, was arrested late Friday afternoon, according to a DuPage County Sheriff's Office press release. He was charged with three counts of possession of child pornography, a Class 3 felony.

The DuPage Sheriff's Office's SPEED Unit (Sexual Predator Electronic Exploitation Division) led an investigation into the downloading of child pornography. A search warrant was executed July 17 at Primas' address, and electronics were removed from the home, according to the release.

"A forensic examination of the electronics revealed the presence of child pornographic movies depicting subjects under the age of 18 years old," the release said.
