Villa Park police also arrested a juvenile for stabbing another teen in this same neighborhood Monday.

Villa Park Police are seeking information and witnesses to an incident that occurred during the early morning hours Tuesday, July 23. 

At about 1 a.m. Tuesday, a house near Ellsworth and Plymouth was struck with several bullets, police said. The incident was not reported to police until 10 a.m.

Juvenile Stabbed in the Same Neighborhood Monday

At 7:10 p.m. Monday, July 21, Villa Park Police responded to a fight at Yale and Ridge. Police said a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed during the fight with another juvenile. The victim was able to describe his assailant to officers before he was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove for treatment. 

Officers located the suspect, a 15-year-old juvenile, in the 400 block of North Ardmore at about 9:20 p.m. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident.
 
The suspect was detained at the Kane County Juvenile Facility pending an appearance in DuPage County Juvenile Court on a charge of aggravated battery.
