Someone smashed a glass door at Kopper Kitchen Restaurant, 601 W. St. Charles Road, sometime between 4 p.m. March 7 and 1:15 a.m. March 9, police said.
Nothing appeared to be missing.
Police said the man reporting the damage told them that staff members at Kopper Kitchen, which has been closed for several weeks, had not been paid for their last seven days at work, but he did not suspect any of them.
