Florida Man Jailed For Throwing Dish & Knife at Other Guy: Cops

The Florida man was at the Extended Stay America on West Grand Avenue.

A Florida man threw a dish and knife at another man at the Extended Stay America on West Grand Avenue, police said.

The alleged dish-and-knife-thrower Lexer Martin-Lozada, 32, of Miami Lakes, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery about 11:45 a.m. Sunday.

Officers sent to the Extended Stay America "found (two men) engaged in an argument," police said.

One of the men had "visible injuries" and told the cops "Martin-Lozada had thrown a plate and a knife at him during the fight," police said.

Martin-Lozada was booked into the DuPage County jail.
