UPDATED: Police Release More Information About Suspects in Monday's Bank Robbery

Bank robbers also wanted for May 26 bank robbery in Elmhurst.

UPDATED July 24:

Police have released additional information about the suspects in the July 23 bank robbery at the TCF Bank in Jewel-Osco at York and Butterfield Road.

The offender who approached the teller with a note demanding cash was about 5 foot 8 inches tall and wearing a dark-colored hat and a blue sweater with designs on the front, possibly a Coogi brand. The note said, "The man behind me has a gun, give us all your money." He placed the cash into a plastic bag in the front of his pants. He then told the teller to go into the vault and get more money. When the teller came out, the offenders were gone.

The second offender was about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 180 pounds wearing a dark colored hat and a black and white plaid hoodie. The third was about 6-foot-1 and wearing a dark hat. He had a black tattoo on his right hand that had at least five stars of different sizes.

All three were between the ages of 18 and 20, police said.

MONDAY, JULY 23:

The men who robbed the Jewel-Osco TCF Bank at York and Butterfield roads in Elmhurst Monday are reportedly the same suspects who robbed the TCF Bank branch at the , according to the Chicago Division of the FBI.

Just before noon , a robber presented a note to a bank teller demanding cash. Two other individuals, who apparently accompanied him, did not approach the teller counter. The robber implied he had a weapon, but he did not display one.

The suspects left on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

In addition to the two Elmhurst robberies, the suspect and his associates also attempted to rob the TCF Bank at 1069 N. Roselle Road in Hoffman Estates on June 6, and succeeded in robbing the TCF Bank at 1660 Larkin Ave. in Elgin on June 12, according to the FBI.

The suspects are described on Bandit Tracker as black and in their 20s, wearing sunglasses and hats.
