Elmhurst Woman Wouldn't Leave So Cops Made Her Stay ... In Jail: Police
An Elmhurst woman was taken to jail on a warrant when she refused to leave her own home, police said.
An Elmhurst woman who refused to leave her own residence turned out to be wanted and was taken to jail, police said.
Marcie Eldred, 37, of 247 E. North Ave. was jailed on a warrant charging her with damaging government property.
Officers showed up at Eldred's place about 12:30 a.m. Friday to investigate a report of "subjects refusing to leave," police said.
