Elmhurst Woman Jailed After Alleged Fight Over Prescription Pills

The jailed woman reportedly told the police she was hit in the face and possibly got a tooth knocked loose.

An Elmhurst woman was arrested after fighting with a man over prescription pills, police said.

Katerina Koski, 35, of 600 S. York Road was taken into custody about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday on charges of domestic battery and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cops sent to Koski's home reportedly spoke to her and a man and were told "they were fighting over prescription pills and it became physical," police said.

"Katerina related (the man) struck her in the face causing bleeding and a possible loose tooth," police said.

The man, police said, "related Katerina attacked him while he was in bed and (he) had cuts on his chest and arm. She struck first."

Paramedics arrived at the residence but Koski and the man refused treatment, police said.
