An Elmhurst woman was jailed on a domestic battery charge in connection with the alleged spatula-related crime.
An Elmhurst woman was jailed for allegedly hitting her husband in the head with a spatula.
Paula Walega, 42, of 265 S. Cottage Hill Ave. was charged with domestic battery in connection with the 7:15 a.m. Friday incident.
The spatula slap left the husband with a bump on his head, police said.
