Elmhurst Woman Charged With Dealing Drugs Near Sandburg Middle School

This is not the first drug arrest for Angela Keene, police say.

An Elmhurst woman is facing multiple drug charges as a result of an ongoing investigation by Elmhurst and Villa Park police.

On July 31, Elmhurst police arrested Angela K. Keene, 45, of 362 E. St. Charles Road, and charged her with delivery of cannabis within 1,000 feet of a school, unlawful delivery of cannabis, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to an Aug. 27 press release from Elmhurst Chief Michael Ruth.

Police said they recovered 66.9 grams of cannabis, along with various controlled substances, including Adderall and Valium, from her home, which is directly across the street from Sandburg Middle School.

Keene previously was arrested by Elmhurst police Feb. 2, 2010, for selling cannabis from her home, according to the press release. During the 2010 arrest, police found 377 grams of cannabis at her home, police said.
