Elmhurst Train Station Window Broken, Maybe By Snowplow, Police Say

Police will review surveillance video to see just how the window broke.

Police are working to determine how a window at the Elmhurst train station broke.

"Dave Comer of Public Works reported damage to a window at the Elmhurst train depot that appears could have happened by a snowplow," police said.

Comer discovered the damage about 9 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

"The damage is consistent with debris striking the window, causing it to spiderweb," police said. "Video footage is available and will be reviewed."
