Elmhurst Teens Call Cop a 'Pig,' Get Arrested

The two teens were hit with pot and paraphernalia charges.

Two Elmhurst teens were hit with pot and drug paraphernalia charges after they called a cop a pig, police said.

Dylan Horne and Mark Young, both 18, were arrested about 7 p.m. Tuesday near Young's 353 Alexander Blvd. home.

An Elmhurst cop in the middle of pulling over another motorist "observed a vehicle drive by shouting the word 'Pig,'" police said.

"A traffic stop was initiated on that vehicle for obstructed windshield," police said. "The vehicle contained an odor of burnt cannabis. The driver and passenger were cited for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia."

Police did not specify which teen was driving but said he was cited for having an obstructed windshield. The police also did not say how much marijuana the teen's allegedly possessed.

Both Young and Horne, a resident of 189 Rex Blvd., were released on bond.
