Elmhurst Snow Disputes Accumulating

The police were again called in to arbitrate a dispute over the placement of snow.

The cops were called to Fair Avenue Friday morning to hash out a neighbor dispute over snow removal.

The problem "involved snow plowing activity where all the snow from the other two neighbors' driveways gets placed on the (third) neighbor's parkway," police said.

Just last week, the Elmhurst police arrested a man for allegedly refusing to remove snow he had shoveled onto a neighbor's property.

This time, nobody got hooked up for allegedly putting snow in the wrong place since an officer "observed no safety hazards with the 5-6 (foot) snow pile," police explained.
