Elmhurst Residents Report Harassment

Man wants to dip candy store employee in chocolate and an ex rears his ugly head.

A female employee of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, 156 N. York Road, reportedly received a vulgar phone call from a man saying he wanted to dip her in 1,000 pounds of chocolate at 3:49 p.m. Feb. 13. He also said she should make a chocolate mold of various parts of his body. After she hung up on him, he called right back and said, “I’ll be back.” His phone number came up as “unknown.”

A resident of the 100 block of Clinton Avenue reported receiving threatening messages on her Facebook page from someone she does not know. She reported the incident at 9:33 p.m. Feb. 4.

A resident of the 400 block of South Spring Road told police she received a voice mail message from a caller saying “You are going to die in seven days.” The victim said the message sounded distorted. An officer called the phone number but could not get through to the caller.

A resident of the 500 block of North Myrtle received a voice mail message from a man who said, “You know somebody is going to kill you, and that somebody is me.” The harassment was reported at 10:19 p.m. Feb. 15. The victim told police that the call came from an “unknown” number. The victim believes the caller may be his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend because of harassing phone calls in the past.
