Elmhurst Police Report Warrant Arrests and License Violations

Warrant Arrests

Brigette Griffith, 42, 614 S. Yale, Villa Park, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a driving on a revoked license charged at Planet Beach, 211 E. Butterfield Road, at 4:14 p.m. Nov. 29. She was released on bond.

Robert M. Powers, 21, 727 Willow, Elmhurst, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a possession of a controlled substance charge out of DuPage County at 1:38 a.m. Dec. 15 at his home. He was released on bond.

Driving With a Suspended License

Mario Martinez, 67, 11943 Maple, Blue Island, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his black Cadillac for illegal use of lighting at 2:05 a.m. Dec. 15 at North Avenue and York Road. He was released on bond.

Jose Molina, 24, 2516 N. Kedzie, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his red Hyundai Elantra for speeding at St. Charles and Fair at 5:36 a.m. Dec. 15. He was released on I-bond.

Driving Without a License

Adan Betancourt, 16, 640 E. George St. Apr. 2D, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after he crashed a silver Chevrolet Blazer into a vehicle driven by a 68-year-old Elmhurst woman at 534 W. St. Charles Road at 1:56 p.m. Dec. 10. Betancourt also was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and disobeying a traffic control device.

Joana Delgado-Cruz, 20, 3134 S. Laramie, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her red Ford Ranger for stopping at a green light, then failing to pull over for police at Interstate 290 and York Road at 7:12 p.m. Dec. 11. Police said they had to block her in to get her to stop. She was released on bond.

Tereso Garcia, 23, 642 S. York Apt. 303, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his green Chrysler Town & Country for one headlight at Grand and Industrial at 12:38 a.m. Dec. 13. He was released on I-bond.

Vincente Sanchez, 63, 1607 Wolf Road, Berkeley, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his white Mazda 626 for one headlight at Butterfield and Cedar at 1:47 a.m. Dec. 13. He was released on I-bond.
