Man Who Was Fired in July Continues to Harass Former Boss

Elmhurst police report trespassing, harassment, domestic battery, warrant arrests.

Harassment

A man was told by police to stop sending offensive text messages and otherwise harassing the man who reportedly fired him in July, but the suspect has not heeded officers' warning. The victim learned that the man had taken an ad on Craigslist using the victim's name and contact information, stating he was a female looking for male companionship. The victim reported that incident on Aug. 22, but the suspect has continued to harass the victim, sending additional text messages, according to a police report. The victim is now pursuing charges.

Criminal Trespass

Louis Hernandez, 19, 270 N. Maple, was arrested and charged with violating a no-trespass order at Elmhurst College, 190 S. Prospect Ave., at 9:20 p.m. Sept. 3. He was released on bond.

Domestic Battery

Matthew Saxton, 30, 117 E. Butterfield Road, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at his home at 5 p.m. Sept. 13. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Violation of Construction Hours

Bartholomew Rohan, 46, 6925 W. 109 Place, Worth, was cited under city ordinance for violating construction hours at 6:20 p.m. Sept. 3.

Warrant Arrests

Guillermo Bravo, 64, 6700 Pinetree Lane Apt. 1A, Hanover Park, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear out of Mount Prospect on the 300 block of Elm at 11:31 a.m. Aug. 19. He was released on bond.

John K. Cole, 38, 2643 Dorian Drive, Snellville, Ga., was arrested on warrants out of DuPage County and out of Hendricks County, Ind., after police responded to a complaint about a solicitor on the 400 block of Kenilworth at 6:25 p.m. Aug. 21. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Jacques S. Hoskins, 20, 169 W. Montana, Glendale Heights, was arrested at 3:53 p.m. Aug. 26 at Dominick's, 215 S. Route 83, on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of retail theft. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Victor Council, 51, 16W518 Honeysuckle Apt. 107, Willowbrook, turned himself in at the Elmhurst Police Station on two warrants for failure to appear at 10:29 p.m. Aug. 26. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Terrell Kennedy, 36, 428 Delaware Circle, Bolingbrook, was arrested on warrant out of Will County for failure to appear at 355 S. Route 83 at 10:42 p.m. Aug. 26. He was released on bond. 

Fleeing and Eluding

Elmhurst police attempted to stop a motorcycle at North Avenue and Route 83 at 9:54 p.m. Aug. 23, but the offender fled southbound at speeds in excess of 90 miles per hour. Police obtained the license number, and it was determined the plate was stolen.
