Elmhurst Police Report License Violations

The following arrest information was supplied by the Elmhurst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Salvador Hernandez, 32, of Bensenville, was charged with driving with a suspended license and driving with one headlight after a traffic stop around 11:15 p.m. on Aug. 1 near York and Diversey. He was released on an I-Bond.

Robert E. Skipper, 42, of Mattewson, was charged with driving with a revoked license, driving with an expired registration and a defective windshield after a traffic stop at Roosevelt Road and Route 83 just before 11 p.m. on July 30. He taken into custody and later released on an I-Bond.

Jennifer Foreman, 22, of Pingree Grove, was charged with driving with a revoked license, driving without a front license plate and no insurance after a traffic stop near York and Second just before 11:30 p.m. on July 30. She was released on an I-Bond.

James A. Brooks, 36, of Elgin, was charged with driving with a suspended license, no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop around 10 p.m. on Aug. 2 near York Road and Crestview Avenue. He was released on $200 bond. A passenger, 33-year-old Kimberly Macedo, of Elgin, was cited for failure to wear a seat belt. She was released on an I-Bond.

Kanika Z. Coleman, 19, of the 100 block of East Haven, was charged with driving without a license, driving with a suspended registration and no insurance after a traffic stop around 12:40 a.m. on Aug. 2. She was released on an I-Bond.

Tomas Jankauskas, 32, of Lombard, was charged with driving without a city taxi license and arrested on a failure to appear warrant after police stopped him while driving a taxi in the 100 block of North York Road around 1 a.m. on Aug. 4. Jankauskas was wanted on a warrant for driving without vehicle registration. He posted bond in both cases and was released.

Julio Ruiz, 36, of Villa Park, was charged with driving without insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving on unsafe tires after a traffic accident in the 300 block of West St. Charles Road just before 4 p.m on Aug. 3.

Jose Sosa, 43, of Chicago, was charged with no valid drivers license and improper lane usage after a traffic stop near North Avenue and Michigan around 5 p.m. on Aug. 4. He was released after posting $100 bond.
