Elmhurst Police Report Drug and Alcohol Arrests

The following arrest information was supplied by the Elmhurst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

DUI Arrests

Justyna Pikul, 22, 802 S. Wisconsin, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol after police pulled over her black Mitsubishi Lancer for speeding at Elmwood Terrace and York at 3:21 a.m. March 30. Passengers Tiffany Martinez, 20, 1263 Horse Shoe Lane, Bartlett, and Brittany Vitellaro, 20, 123 Woodland, Bensenville, were both charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Jose Garcia, 21, 212 44th Ave., Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his black Dodge Charger for tinted windows and improper lane use at North and Myrtle at 1:53 a.m. March 31. He was released on I-bond.

George Demaria, 20, 499 W. St. Charles Road, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI and consumption of alcohol by a minor after police pulled over his black Nissan Altima for speeding at 575 S. Spring Road at 2:49 a.m. April 1. He was released on I-bond.

Possession of a Controlled Substance

John W. Rudnick, 26, 545 S. Highview Ave., Lombard, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and DUI after police pulled over his blue Chevrolet Venture for one tail light at Monterey and Roosevelt at 4:56 a.m. March 31. A search revealed a clear cellophane wrapper with about 1/2 gram of suspect cocaine in his pants pocket. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Possession of Cannabis

Frank J. Obaya Jr., 18, 2430 Davisson St., River Grove, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis after police pulled him over for driving without headlights at York and Second streets at 11:15 p.m. March 31. He was released on bond.
