Elmhurst Police Report Domestic Battery, Harassment, Criminal Damage and Warrant Arrests
An ex-boyfriend challenged to a fist fight and gang graffiti among incidents reported last week.
Domestic Battery
Marcus J. Henderson, 21, 10546 S. Vernon Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with domestic battery after police received a report for criminal damage at 128 Fellows Court Apt. G at 9:24 a.m. Feb. 20. Police located Henderson walking in the parking lot. He was taken to DuPage County Jail. Aaron Henderson, 18, of the same address, was found with Marcus and was charged with battery, criminal damage to property and reckless conduct. He was released on bond.

A resident of the 300 block of Montrose reported to police she has been receiving text messages from someone regarding a relationship with someone’s husband since Feb. 11. She said the messages have become more vulgar. The incidents were reported at 5:32 p.m. Feb. 16.
A 40-year-old Noblesville, Ind., man was headed to Illinois on Feb. 18 because the current boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend had challenged him to a duel. Police got involved when the woman filed a phone harassment report because she said her ex-boyfriend, whom she had been separated from over more than a year, called her cell phone 10 times an hour, between 6:29 and 7:21 p.m. Feb. 18. The woman’s current boyfriend got on the phone and challenged the ex to a fist fight. The Indiana man told police he started driving to Illinois, but changed his mind. He was advised to have no further contact with his ex-girlfriend.

Criminal Damage
Someone scratched gang symbol into the concrete along a stone ledge at the train platform, 128 W. First St., causing about $300 in damage. The symbols, an upside-down pitchfork and a crown, were reported at midnight Feb. 16.
Warrant Arrests
Kenneth R. Linton, 42, 2301 N. Mannheim Road No. 216, Stone Park, came in to the Elmhurst Police Station at 12:26 p.m. Feb. 16 to turn himself in on a warrant for failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge. He posted bond and was released with a new court date.
Jason A. Goodlaw, 38, 621 N. Grant St., Hinsdale, was arrested and cited under city ordinance for driving with a revoked license at 3:59 a.m. Feb. 17 at Roosevelt Road and Prospect Avenue. After officers stopped him for not having a rear registration plate light, they discovered he had a valid warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear on a DUI charge. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.
Aisha A. Pasha, 20, 3950 Lakeshore Drive #2228E, Chicago, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a driving on a suspended license charge at 11:39 p.m. Feb. 18 at York Road and Lake Street. She was released on bond.
