Man Allegedly Gets Unruly at the Police Department, Home Furnishings Dumped Illegally

Also, two people arrested on warrants in Elmhurst.

Disorderly Conduct

Jorge Rodriguez, 30, 213 E. Grand Ave., Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at the Elmhurst Police Station at 2:28 a.m. Nov. 3. Rodriguez reportedly took a cab to the police department after police said he couldn't find his car after being at a bar all night. He was arrested in the lobby of the police station after he began yelling and swearing at his wife and sister, who arrived to pick him up, police said. He was released on bond.

Robert Baldwin, 64, 320 George St., Bensenville, was cited for disorderly conduct at 305 N. York St., at 7:06 p.m. Nov. 5. No further information was available.

Warrant Arrests

Luis Barajas, 32, 1107 W. Hillside Apt. D, Bensenville, was arrested on a warrant out of Elmhurst for possession of a controlled substance after police pulled over his white Cadillac Escalade for expired registration at North Avenue and River Glen at 2:54 a.m. Nov. 1. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Dejan Zaltkovic, 38, 2445 Saranac, Glenview, was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court after police pulled over his black Mercedes-Benz for speeding and expired registration at Maple and North at 10:01 a.m. Nov. 5. Police said his license also was expired. He was released on bond with a new court date.

Illegal Dumping

Someone dumped two dressers, a headboard and footboard, a television, shoes, latex purple gloves and miscellaneous CDs and DVDs into a dumpster at Tape and Label Graphic, 442 W. Fullerton, at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 9.
