Elmhurst Police Report Arrests for DUI, Possession of Pot, Resisting Arrest

Two out of three warrant arrests land suspects in jail.

DUI Arrests

Daniel Lacour, 34, 138 S. Wisconsin, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled over his white Ford Ranger for improper lane use at Route 83 and St. Charles Road at 12:20 a.m. Nov. 9. He was released on I-bond.

Jessica Smith, 22, 628 S. Grace, Lombard, was arrested and charged with DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled over her red Mercury Cougar for disobeying a traffic control device and improper lane use at 459 N. York Road at 1:44 a.m. Nov. 10. She was released on I-bond.

Sonja Henry, 33, 24 S. Addison St. Apt. 517, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over her Dodge Caliber for disobeying a traffic control device, one headlight and expired registration at 2:13 a.m. Nov. 10 at Grand and Industrial. She was released on bond.

Noel Armanov, 31, 3525 W. Thorndale, Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his Chevrolet Caprice for improper lane use, speeding and improper turn at York and Interstate 290 at 3:17 a.m. Nov. 10. He was released on I-bond.

Daniel B. Dimeo, 25, 2008 Hollywood Court, Wilmette, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his red Toyota Prius for improper lane use at Second and Addison at 1:54 a.m. Nov. 11. He was released on bond.

Esther Flores, 59, 724 Junior Terrace, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over her black Nissan Altima for improper lane use at Church and Fullerton at 2:18 a.m. Nov. 11. She was released on bond.

Patrycja Gumkowski, 18, 4328 N. River Road Apt. 3B, Schiller Park, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over her Chevrolet Cavalier for disobeying a stop sign at York and Cayuga at 3:30 a.m. Nov. 11. She was released on bond.

Possession of Cannabis

Emanuel Diaz, 32, 4588 W. Altgeld, Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled over his black Dodge Intrepid for one headlight at Lake and Route 83 at 12:31 a.m. Nov. 11. He was released on bond.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Colleen C. Dougherty, 21, 1046 Kendall Trail, Addison, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled over her Toyota Camry for obstructed view at 1:13 a.m. Nov. 11. She was released on bond.

Resisting Arrest

Chris Anthony Kupka, 57, 703 Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct/resisting arrest after police found him laying on the road next to his bicycle at 716 Thomas St. at 6:25 p.m. Nov. 10. Police said he attempted to throw a backpack at officers. He was taken to the hospital and charged upon his release.

Warrant Arrests

Joshua A. Wieland, 28, 776 N. Villa, Villa Park, was arrested on a warrant out of DuPage County for unlawful possession of a controlled substance at Villa and Pine at 1:15 p.m. Nov. 11. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Craig D. Hudson, 52, 639 W. Armitage, Elmhurst, was arrested on a warrant after police pulled over his red GMC Sierra at Comstock and West for failure to signal at 3:21 p.m. Nov. 11. He also was charged with driving with a revoked license. He was taken to DuPage County Jail and his vehicle towed for forfeiture.

Daniel Hernandez, 30, 4711 St. Joseph Creek Drive Apt. 4B, Lisle, was arrested on a warrant out of Aurora after police pulled over his gray Pontiac G6 at North and Melrose at 11:10 p.m. Nov. 13. He was released on bond.
