Arrests Reported in Elmhurst for DUI, Indecent Exposure, Public Intox

Police also responded to resident who overdosed on cocaine.

DUI Arrests

Anthony Vechiola, 29, 133 W. Washington, Lombard, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police said his white Lincoln Continental struck a curb at Spring and McKinley causing a flat tire at 10:50 p.m. July 18. He was released on bond. 

Patrick Rizzo, 33, 6 Woodland Court Apt. 3, Lombard, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his black Nissan Versa for improper lane use at St. Charles and Spring at 12:43 a.m. July 20. He was released on bond.

Kenneth Maurer, 37, 621 W. Armitage Ave., Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his green Jeep for disobeying a traffic control device at Addison and North at 1:10 a.m. July 20. He was released on bond.

Arturo Huizar, 23, 1105 S. Mason Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over his blue Volkswagon Jetta for improper lane use and speeding at North and West avenues at 1:49 a.m. July 22. He was released on bond.

Public Intoxication

Robert Lee Baldwin, 63, 641 George St., Bensenville, was arrested and charged with public intoxication after police received a call for a person lying down in the Dominick's parking lot, 215 S. Route 83, at 2:27 p.m. July 19. He was released on bond.

Daniel Kosich, 21, 492 Prospect, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of a fake ID after police said they found him passed out at the Adelaide parking deck, 120 W. Adelaide, at 4:15 a.m. July 20. He was released on bond.

Jorge Zacarias, 35, 222 Cornell Drive, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with public intoxication after police were called to Elmhurst Public House, 683 W. St. Charles Road, for a fire-alarm pull.

Overdose Investigation

Police responded to an undisclosed address to assist medics with a victim who had overdosed on a controlled substance at 10 p.m. July 23. The victim told police he had purchased three bags of cocaine from a man in Des Plaines the night before, but the cocaine was no longer on scene, police said.

Indecent Exposure

Warren Kreitzer, 64, last known address 1919 Chase Lane, Aurora, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct/indecent exposure at Oberwies Dairy, 1018 S. York Road, at 7:30 p.m. July 20. He was released on bond.

Possession of Cannabis

Mary Gonzalez, 28, 2536 S. 59th Ave., Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her Chevrolet Impala for disobeying a traffic control device at North and Clinton at 11:45 a.m. July 23. During an inventory of her vehicle, police said they found cannabis. She was released on bond.

Tommie Parham, 24, 48 S. Huntington, Matteson, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis after police said they saw him rolling and sealing a cannabis cigar in the backseat of an Oldsmobile LSS at York and North at 6:22 p.m. July 23. A counterfeit $20 bill also was located in the vehicle, police said. He was released on bond.

No Trespass Orders

An unidentified man was issued a no-trespass order at Pazzi Di Pizza, 105 S. York Road, at 5:23 p.m. July 21. Police said he was yelling and frightening customers.

Sasha Molina, 23, 3518 Thomas St., Melrose Park, was issued a citation for trespassing on railroad property at 145 E. First St. at 12:59 a.m. July 24. He was released on bond.
