Elmhurst Police Report Arrests for DUI, Domestic Battery and Disorderly Conduct

Information from police reports dated April 26 to 29.

DUI Arrests

Stephanie Sargent, 27, 59 S. Hale St. Unit 310, Palatine, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police pulled over her red Ford Escape for driving the wrong way on a one-way street at Schiller and York at 1:48 a.m. April 27. She was released on bond.

Desmond Richard, 23, 3301 W. Palmer, Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over his Volkswagon Jetta for improper lane use at Palmer and Schiller at 2:19 a.m. April 27. He was released on bond.

David Sandoval, 29, 696 N. Nolan, Glendale Heights, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his gray Acura MDX for disobeying a traffic control device at York and Schiller at 1:14 a.m. April 28. He was released on bond.

Lerin Binion, 31, 6401 S. Mozart Apt. 1N, Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without a license after police pulled over her black Kia Optima for speeding and failure to signal at Crestview and York at 3:55 a.m. April 28. She was released on bond.

Jerry Stubbs, 55, 8110 S. Anthony, Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over his blue Pontiac G5 for expired registration and driving on the wrong side of the road at Howard and Lake Street at 6:03 a.m. April 28. He was released on bond.

Brian Hennigan, 22, 317 N. Ridgeland, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI after police responded to an attempted retail theft at 7-Eleven, 525 S. Spring Road, at 1:47 a.m. April 29. He was released on bond.

Domestic Battery

Christian A. Barrera, 20, 18W166 16th St., Villa Park, was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic battery after an incident at North and River Glen at 12:25 p.m. April 28. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Disorderly Conduct

Robert H. Ahrweiler, 52, 253 E. North End, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, possession of open liquor and public intoxication after police responded to a call for an intoxicated subject at 210 N. Addison at 8:45 p.m. April 26. He was released on bond.

Paul Marciniak, 37, 138 Fellows Court, Elmhurst, was arrested and cited for public intoxication and possession of open alcohol after an off-duty Elmhurst fireman reportedly saw him kicking an undercover police vehicle at Dominick's, 215 S. Route 83, at 7:36 p.m. April 27. He was released on bond.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Patrick Dannhauer, 21, 516 N. Elm St., Mount Prospect, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled over his red Mazda for speeding at York and Diversey at 9:51 p.m. April 26. He was released on bond.

Warrant Arrest

Cornelio Vazquez, 32, 2010 E. Algonquin, Mount Prospect, was arrested on a warrant out of Melrose Park at the Toyota dealership, 440 W. Lake St., at 10:12 p.m. April 28. He was picked up by Melrose Park police.
