Elmhurst Police Report Arrests for Drugs, Alcohol and Disorderly Conduct

Sixth person reported arrested in prostitution sting, and man gets in the face of a clerk at PetCo over a grooming bill.

Prostitution

Krystal Kick, 27, 409 Route 83, Grayslake, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. April 26 at an undisclosed location and charged with prostitution. She was who also were arrested that day for solicitation and prostitution during a police sting. She was released on I-bond.

Noah D. Vulpitta, 30, 1775 Fox Mead Circle, Montgomery, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis and illegal parking after police saw Vulpitta’s white Chevy van parked in front of 272 Glade St. near a “no parking” sign at 1:26 a.m. April 22. Vulpitta told police he was just waiting for vehicles to leave a driveway and he would then move his vehicle. Police said in plain view was a plastic wrapper with a substance that appeared to be cannabis. Vulpitta reportedly admitted to smoking cannabis to treat his high anxiety level. He was released on I-bond.

Aaron Rodriguez, 30, 4952 N. Natoma, Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis after a traffic stop at 7:18 p.m. April 24 at Route 83 and Lake Street. He was released on I-bond.

Lenaris D. Brown, 25, 1639 W. 93rd Place, Chicago; Marcus L. Rutlede, 20, 9210 S. Ashland, Chicago; and Jaymes E. Hart, 25, 4054 W. 115th St., Chicago, were arrested and charged with possession of cannabis after a traffic stop at 5:56 p.m. April 26 at West and Belden avenues. Brown also was charged with failure to signal and unlawful transportation of alcohol. They were released on I-bond.

Clarence L. Hilliard III, 25, 806 Irving, Hillside, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis, illegal transportation of open alcohol and operating an uninsured vehicle after a traffic stop at York and Butterfield roads at 1:56 a.m. April 27. Hilliard was found to be in possession of two cannabis roaches and an open bottle of vodka, police said. He was released on bond.

Unlawful Use of a Weapon

Daniel T. Reinhofer, 19, 915 Hillcrest Ave., Elmhurst, was arrested at his home at 4:19 p.m. April 27 and charged with a misdemeanor complaint of unlawful use of a weapon. Officers went to the home to serve Reinhofer an order of protection that was obtained against him. While gathering his belongings, he became very angry and reportedly shouted obscenities at officers. While walking him out, officers noticed a pair of brass knuckle in his possession. He was released on I-bond.

DUI Arrests

Victor M. Vancour, 47, 2829 S. 48th Court, Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at westbound Interstate 290 between North Avenue and York Road at 1:02 a.m. April 23. He was released on bond.

Santiago Munoz, 34, 2912 N. Oak Park, Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of cannabis and no valid drivers license after a traffic stop at 2:28 a.m. April 24 on the 100 block of East Grand Avenue.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

A 15-year-old boy was taken to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital for his high level of intoxication at 7:32 p.m. April 28. Police responded to 659 N. Michigan Ave. for a report of a boy lying in the road. While they were in route, they were told the boy had been forced into a vehicle and was headed northbound on York. Police found him in Bensenville. He was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor and releaed on I-bond at the hospital to his mother.

Disorderly Conduct

Nicholas M. Auriemma, 18, 628 Diana Court, Bensenville, and Giovanni L. Ravenna, 18, 521 N. Kenilworth, Elmhurst, were arrested and cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor after police saw them walking down Illinois Prairie Path at 2:33 a.m. April 23. Auriemma also gave police an identification that was not his. He also was cited for disorderly conduct and use of another person’s ID. They were released on I-bonds to their mothers.

An elderly man became involved in a dispute with the staff at PetCo, 199 S. Route 83, after his dog was groomed and he was given a bill of $51 at 12:23 p.m. April 27. The man reportedly became verbally abusive and started swearing, then he gave the female clerk a check for $45 and said that was all he was going to pay. He reportedly was pointing his finger at her very closely. She obtained his license plate number, and police attempted to contact him. Police will follow up.
