Elmhurst Police Report Arrests for Driving on Suspended, Revoked Licenses

Driving With a Revoked License

Martin Carral, 24, 23128 W. Lee St., Plainfield, was arrested and charged with felony aggravated driving with a revoked livense and driving without insurance after his black Chevrolet Camaro was involved in an accident at North and Illinois at 5:13 p.m. July 15. He was taken to DuPage County Jail and his vehicle towed for forfeiture.

Driving With a Suspended License

Harriet Fairchild, 37, 111 N. Menard Apt. 1, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over her white Saturn for expired registration at Oaklawn and Grand at 5:14 p.m. June 24. She was released on bond.

Edwardo Candelaria, 20, 1603 N. 22nd, Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his Hyundai Elantra at York and Crestview at 12:40 a.m. June 26. He was released on bond.

Starr Houston, 40, 1948 W. Maypole, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over her red Ford Expedition for disobeying a traffic control device at 11:14 p.m. June 28. She was released on bond.

Michael Calkins, 48, 5406 W. Barry, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his green Plymouth Neon for no taillights at York and Diversey at 12:22 a.m. June 29. He was released on bond.

Esteban Nayton, 31, 1114 N. Sandra, Northlake, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police stopped his black Chrysler 300 for expired registration at Grand and County Line Road at 2:39 a.m. June 30. He was released on bond.

Ramon Huerta-Navarett, 30, 3636 S. 52nd Court Apt. 1, Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his silver Nissan Altima for defective windshield and a loud muffler at Crescent and Colfax at 10:35 a.m. July 1. He was released on bond.

Lashan Howard, 41, 208 28th, Bellwood, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to secure a child after police pulled over her blue Lexus SUV for no headlights at North and Willow at 1:11 a.m. July 6. She was released on bond.

Lamar Gardner, 29, 1800 S. 15th Ave. Apt. 5, Broadview, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his silver Pontiac Sunfire for disobeying a traffic control device at Butterfield and Cambridge at 12:01 a.m. July 7. He was released on bond.

Rhyhem Valladay, 37, 338 W. Division St. Apt. D, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his gold Chevrolet Cavalier for disobeying a traffic control device at North and Glade at 4:54 p.m. July 9. Valladay was released on bond.

Tarisha Davis, 24, 743 E. 46th, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over her silver Dodge Stratus at North and York at 10:18 p.m. July 10. She also was wanted out of Champaign County on a warrant for failure to appear, police said. She was released on bond.

Derrick Green, 33, 610 N. Ninth St., East St. Louis, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and obstructing identification after police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at North and Walnut at 8:29 p.m. July 15. He was released on bond.

Andrew Abata, 43, 619 Briar Hill Apt. 2, Addison, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police stopped his GMC Yukon for no seat belt at Route 83 and North Avenue at 7:54 a.m. July 19. He was released on bond.

Gregory Wilson, 19, 2032 Prentiss Drive, Downers Grove, was cited for driving with a suspended license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after his black Chevrolet Impala was involved in an accident with a 21-year-old Franklin Park man at North Avenue and Route 83 at 5 p.m. July 19.

Calvin Swan, 48, 207 Concord Lane, Carol Stream, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without taillights at St. Charles and Berkley at 3:03 a.m. July 20. He was released on bond.

Carmelo A. Laboy, 29, 2408 W. Lunt, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his green Chevrolet Blazer for suspended registration at York and Grand at 7:29 a.m. July 20. He was released on bond.

Leonel Rodriguez, 20, 7500 Elmhurst Road Lot 92, Des Plaines, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after his black Saturn Vue was involved in an accident with a 21-year-old Elmhurst resident at York and Lake at 6:39 p.m. July 20. Rodriguez was released on bond.

Driving Without a License

Benedicto Perez-Vasquez, 38, 122 Sonny Lane Apt. 1B, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his green Pontiac Grand Am for one headlight at Grand and Oaklawn at 12:30 a.m. June 24. He was released on bond.

Marcelo Duclerc, 25, 4055 N. Mason, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his white Honda Civic for speeding at North and Indiana at 5:35 a.m. June 28. He was released on bond.

Cynthia Nava, 25, 530 Mill Apt. 1M, Addison, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her green Toyota Camry for disobeying a traffic control device at Palmer and York at 4:47 a.m. June 29. She was released on bond.

Everto E. Carrillo, 35, 1001 Ferrari Drive Apt. 2A, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his tan Mazda for speeding and no valid registration at York and Interstate 290 at 4:40 p.m. July 1. While speaking to Carrillo, police said they saw an open can of beer under the passenger seat. He also was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol. He was released on bond.

Jorge Garcia, 36, 149 S. Villa Apt. 8, Addison, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his tan Toyota Corolla for disobeying a traffic signal at Grand and Oaklawn at 2:07 a.m. July 4. He was released on bond.

Deshae Moore, 20, 238 Fenwood Lane, Hillside, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his gray Cadillac for driving without headlights at Butterfield and Stratford at 12:49 a.m. July 13. He was released on bond.

Natalio Galicia-Cruz, 29, 119 Bernice, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his blue Honda Accord for failure to yield at Addison and Hahn at 12:48 p.m. July 15. He also was cited for failure to secure a child under 8. He was released on bond.
