Elmhurst Police Report Arrests for Battery, Trespass, Disorderly Conduct

Disorderly conduct charges include citations for urinating in the parking garage, fornicating in a Chrysler Sebring, public intoxication at York.

Domestic Battery

Jorie A. Vandermolen, 26, 249 E. Vallette, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at her home at 12:38 p.m. Oct. 11. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Linda S. Britton, 58, 5943 Electric Ave., Berkeley, was arrested and charged with battery at Walgreens, 160 N. Robert Palmer Drive, at 3:55 p.m. Oct. 14. She was released on bond.

Disorderly Conduct

Samantha N. Palermo, 19, 945 Euclid, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police said she shouted profanities to staff members during morning drop-off at 7:45 a.m. Oct. 10 at York High School, 355 W. St. Charles Road. Police said she refused to stop for an officer and was stopped later in her vehicle. She was released on bond.

Ryan Rowe, 24, 1705 Kent, Hoffman Estates, was cited under city ordinance for open alcohol on the 100 block of East Fullerton at 12:37 a.m. Oct. 12. He was released on bond.

Jonathan Kroushl, 27, 1643 Bristol, Westchester, and Anthony Girardi, 26, 10651 Fairfield, Westcheter, were cited for urinating in the Adelaide parking deck, 120 W. Adelaide, at 1:05 a.m. Oct. 12. 

Connor Martin, 22, 335 N. Ridgeland, Elmhurst, was cited for urinating in the Adelaide parking deck at 1:50 a.m. Oct. 12. He was released on bond.

John Page, 57, 705 W. Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct/public intoxication after police said they found him lying on the sidewalk with his bicycle at York High School, 355 W. St. Charles Road, at 7:19 p.m. Oct. 12.

Two juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct for fornicating in a silver Chrysler Sebring at Pioneer Park, Mitchell and Prairie Path Lane, at 4:18 p.m. Oct. 13. They were released at the scene to their parents. 

No Trespass Order

Police reported on Sept. 24 that a woman walked into a home on the 900 block of South Euclid. She does not know the owners of the home, and it was the second time such an incident occurred. She began to cry and seemed confused, police said. The woman's husband said she suffers from bi-polar disorder. She was issued a no-trespass order.

Criminal Trespass

Rakeem J. Chandler, 20, 2119 Eighth Ave., Maywood, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to property after police were called to Royal Oaks, 100 W. Butterfield, on a report of a suspicious person at 10:04 a.m. Oct. 11. Police said Chandler was found sleeping on the couch in the lobby. He was released on bond.

Madeleine C. Deregnier, 19, 1131 Thatcher Ave., River Forest; Tani R. Freiwald, 62, 622 W. Crockett Ave., Elmhurst; and Michael A. Scheitler, 51, 1449 N. Bosworth, Chicago, were arrested and charged with criminal trespass after police said they were seen trespassing under the fence at the Elmhurst Quarry, 400 W. First St., at 3:25 p.m. Oct. 13. They were released on bond.
