Elmhurst Police Make Arrests for Drug Dealing; Alleged Thieves Caught With Burglary Tools
Three taken to DuPage County Jail.
Delivery of a Controlled Substance
Stephen Provancal, 24, 531 Carlysle Drive Apt. 4, Clarendon Hills, was arrested and charged with delivery of cannabis and delivery of a controlled substance after police said they witnessed him delivering an ounce of cannabis and 10 ecstasy pills to an undisclosed location in Elmhurst at 10:56 p.m. July 24. Police said he also was in possession of several sheets of acid. The arrest was the result of an ongoing drug investigation, police said. Provancal was taken to DuPage County Jail and his silver Ford Fiesta was towed for forfeiture.

Lamont Wilson, 41, 6941 S. Talman, Chicago, and Gregory Cotton, 46, 1536 Kolin, Chicago, were arrested and charged with felony theft and possession of burglary tools after police said they were stealing spare tires at the Double Tree Hotel, 1900 Spring Road, Oak Brook, at 1:53 p.m. July 19. They were arrested following police surveillance of similar thefts in Elmhurst. They were taken to DuPage County Jail.
