Elmhurst Police Make Arrests for Alcohol and Drugs

The following arrest information was supplied by the Elmhurst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

DUI Arrests

Clint K. Rieger, 27, 2233 S. Highland Ave., Lombard, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use after a traffic stop at 12:48 a.m. July 9 at North Avenue and York Road. He was released on bond.

Antonio Pintauro, 60, 563 St. Charles Road, Lombard, was arrested and charged under city ordinance with DUI, failure to signal and improper lane use after a traffic stop at 2:16 a.m. July 9 at York Road and Lake Street. He was released on bond.

Paul A. Marqueete, 48, 4912 Cornelia, Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI, speeding, improper lane use, following too closely and failing to secure a child in a child restraint after a traffic stop at 12:13 a.m. July 10 at North Avenue and Interstate 290. He was released on I-bond.

Omar G. Mendoza, 26, 1S256 Ardmore, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI, three counts of endangering the life of a child, no insurance, improper lane use and driving with expired registration after a traffic stop at 12:28 a.m. July 10 at Grand Avenue and York Road. He was taken to DuPage County Jail. A passenger, Ana A. Rodriguez, 26, 212 E. Vermont St., Villa Park, was charged with permitting a driver under the influence of alcohol to drive.

Stephanie E. Bell, 38, 116 N. Lockwood, Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI after a traffic stop at York and North End at 2:39 a.m. July 10. She also was charged with failure to signal, improper lane use and illegal transportation of open alcohol.

Marko Stojsavljevic, 49, 230 Chandler, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI and improper parking in the roadway after police responded to a call of a driver that appeared to be sleeping at First and Haven streets at 3:14 p.m. July 11. He was released on I-bond.

Possession of Cannabis

Joshua M. Coley, 21, 7343 Tennessee Drive, Willowbrook, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis, driving with an expired license, driving without insurance and speeding after a traffic stop at Route 83 and St. Charles Road at 5:25 p.m. July 9. He was released on I-bond.

Several people were arrested after an incident at 985 S. Riverside Drive at 7:30 p.m. July 8. Police on patrol noticed a group of people standing around a parked vehicle in the southwest corner of the Public Works facility parking lot. Upon speaking to them, the officer noticed open alcohol inside the vehicle. During a search, officers also located cannabis and a bong. A 16-year-old boy was cited for possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor and released to his mother at the scene. Dhaval Kumar Patil, 23, 8440 S. Harlem, Bridgeview; Diptesh V. Patel, 25, 7406 S. Sholer Ave., Bridgeview; and Vishal G. Patel, 23, 8440 S. Harlem, Bridgeview, were issued citations for possession of open alcohol in public. They were released on I-bonds at the scene. Jaymeen V. Shah, 19, 909 S. Aberdeen, Chicago, was taken into custody and charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was released on I-bond.

Underage Drinking

Samuel Hernandez-Vidal, 18, 453 N. Addison, Elmhurst, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor after police responded to his home for a verbal domestic incident at 12:37 a.m. July 9. He was released on bond.
