Elmhurst Police Dog Finds 98 Baggies of Heroin

An Elmhurst police dog sniffed out 98 baggies of heroin and some marijuana stashed in a car.

The Elmhurst dog was dispatched to assist the Villa Park police with a vehicle search about 8:40 p.m. near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Route 83.

The heroin was hidden behind an interior door panel, police said.

Ok this is a story? So, was somebody arrested? Or is this just a story about a dog? This was posted Feb. 6th. Any other info that we can be given seeing as this heroin problem is poisoning and killing a lot of the young people here in our town? Are there detectives working on this case now to trace the source of the heroin? Any more info for the people / parents here in this town?

We should send all the heroine baggies to Mumbai re-labeled as sugar. It would be hilarious to see the reactions and they have the population to loose. Or perhaps granulate it so it looks like rice!
