Elmhurst Police Crack Down on Liquor, Tobacco Sales to Minors

Four cited for tobacco sales, nine for alcohol sales on July 5.

Elmhurst police conducted a compliance check between 5:47 and 8:49 p.m. July 5 on businesses that sell liquor and tobacco. Police said the following offenders were charged with selling tobacco and liquor to minors and released at the scene:

Tobacco Law Violations:

  • Mohammed Imran, 24, 515 N. West, Elmhurst, at Tobacco Hut, 954 N. York
  • Jose Velasquez-Garcia, 29, 1046 S. York Apt. 1C., Elmhurst, at Shell, 926 N. York
  • Joyce Zetscher, 61, 815 N. 20th, Melrose Park, at York Cigarette Center, 573 N. York
  • Jeremy Resillez, 22, 1285 Chatham Lane, Roselle, at 7 Eleven, 525 S. Spring Road
