Elmhurst Police Arrest Men for DUI, Assault and Dropping Trou at City Centre Fountain

Also, a man makes a woman feel uneasy near Fellows Court, and a drugs found at Chipotle.

DUI Arrest

Gonzalo G. Figueroa, 25, 1072 W. Irving Park Road Apt. 2A, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license after police pulled over his silver Kia Sorento for speeding and improper lane use at Interstate 290 and Route 83 at 1:20 a.m. Sept. 4. He also was charged with failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

Assault

Michael T. Harris, 46, 531 N. Van Auken, Elmhurst, was arrested at his home after police say he attempted to stab someone with a screwdriver at 4:54 p.m. Sept. 2. He was released on I-bond.

Drugs Found

A small plastic baggie containing cannabis was found at 9:50 p.m. Aug. 31 at Chipotle, 139 N. York.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Barry Koller, 20, 29W171 Woodland, West Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled him over at North and Indiana at 1:16 a.m. Sept. 5. He was released on bond.

Anthony J. Debartolo, 36, 1240 Antietam, Long Grove, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled over his silver Mazda 6 for speeding and tinted windows at North and Indiana at 5:12 p.m. Sept. 5. He was released on bond.

Jeffrey K. Ferranco, 33, 327 Yorkfield, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to his home at 1:54 p.m. Sept. 6. Police said Ferranco, who was very lethargic, had admitted to taking cocaine, but later discovered he had ingested heroin. He was taken to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital.

Disorderly Conduct

A woman told police that a man approached her on the 400 block of West St. Charles Road at 10:20 p.m. Aug. 26. It had been raining and the subject moved close to her with his umbrella to shelter her from the rain. He told her he lived in the apartment complex on Fellows Court and made comments about being in trouble with the law, cannabis and sex. He left in a white mini van.

Christopher A. Catris, 22, 3303 Vernon Ave., Brookfield, was charged with public urination after an officer on bike patrol saw him urinating on a wall at 101 N. York at 12:15 a.m. Sept. 1. He was released at the scene.

Matthew Boeing, 23, 342 S. Hawthorne, Bensenville, was cited for disorderly conduct after police said he was seen next to the City Centre fountain, 112 E. Schiller, with his shoes off and his pants down around his ankles at 12:12 a.m. Sept. 6. He pulled up his pants when officers arrived. He was released on I-bond.
