Elmhurst Police Arrest Woman for Prostitution at Waverton Hotel

Prostitution

Pisa Bun, 21, 2671 Erlene Drive, Cincinnati, was arrested and charged with keeping a place of prostitution at the Waverton Hotel, 624 N. York St., at 11:15 p.m. Sept. 18. Elmhurst police followed up on an internet posting for sexual services in the area of "Elmhurst, off 290" on backpage.com. Police called the suspect and a meeting was set up at the hotel. Police said Bun asked for $150 for sexual favors and admitted to phone solicitation for sex. She was charged with keeping a place of prostitution and released on I-bond.

Theft Arrests

Maricela Delgado, 24, 340 Lincoln Court Apg. 2, Addison, was arrested and charged with retail theft after she reportedly was seen on camera placing several items into her purse at Kmart, 265 S. Route 83, at 8:01 p.m. Sept. 17. She was released on bond.

Mauricio Cabrales, 59, 1817 N. 33rd Ave., Stone Park, was charged with scavenging without a license after police said he took a lawn mower from in front of a house on the 200 block of East Second Street at 6:27 p.m. Sept. 20. The victim told police he finished cutting his lawn and placed the mower at the end of his parkway while he went to get his leaf blower. When he returned, he saw a man in a green, older model Dodge van stop in front of the house. When the van left the area, the mower was gone. Cabrales said the neighbor told him the lawn mower was garbage, police said. The mower was returned to the victim.

Warrant Arrest

Thomas C. Wagner, 26, 1038 W. Roscoe, Chicago, was arrested on a warrant out of McDonough County for failure to appear after police pulled him over for driving on the shoulder at North and Route 83 at 5:57 p.m. Sept. 20. He was released on bond with a new court date.
