The Elmhurst police recovered an abandoned, adult-sized red tricycle.

The tricycle was taken into police custody Saturday morning.

"Found was an adult-sized red tricycle," police said. "The tricycle was left abandoned in the underpass at the above listed location."

The Elmhurst police pinpointed that location at the intersection of North and Emroy avenues.

There was no serial number inscribed on the tricycle, police said, and it was "placed in the PD garage."

A found bike in Elmhurst. GET REAL, this must be a really slow news day. The Patch reporting continues to hit new lows. No wonder they are loosing money. At one time I enjoyed the quality of the news and the local feel to the reporting. Now it is tabloid articles with staged pictures.
