Three of Elmhurst's four standing committees will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 209 N. York St.
Development, Planning and Zoning—Chairman Steve Morley
The agenda includes a request for variations to allow seven wall signs at 538 W. St. Charles Road. The request was passed out of the Zoning and Planning Commission in April.

Public Works and Buildings—Chairman Jim Kennedy
The committee's agenda includes:
- A comprehensive flood plan update
- West Avenue and Spring Road improvements funded through the Local Agency Pavement Preservation (LAPP) resource
- Metra grant for the Larch Street parking deck
- Bids: Purchase of a return-activated sludge pump
