Each Monday, the DuPage Sheriff's Office highlights one criminal being sought for outstanding warrants. This week, it's Antoine Palton.

DuPage County Sheriff John Zaruba announced the Manhunt Monday pick of the week is a man wanted out of Chicago on a Class 2 Felony weapons charge.

Antoine Palton, 34, is wanted for failure to appear in court on the 2012 case, in which he was charged with carrying a firearm on his person and knowingly defacing the serial number, unlawful use of a weapon and resisting a peace officer.

Palton is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was on the 2900 block of Wood Street in Chicago.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Palton should contact the DuPage County Sheriff's Office at (630) 407-2400.

“On Manhunt Monday, the Sheriff’s Office will highlight one criminal who is being sought after for having outstanding warrants,” Sheriff Zaruba said. "Please remember these suspects are wanted for criminal charges and need to be apprehended by law enforcement."
