DuPage DUI Arrests, Aug. 4 Edition

July 12: Andrea Zabrodski, 25, of the 16000 block of Wildwood Lane, Homer Glen, was charged with DUI and cited for the following:

  • Disobeying a traffic control device
  • No rear tail lights
  • Failure to signal
  • Failure to yield

Zabrodski was arrested at 2:14 a.m. after police pulled over her 2011 BMW on I-55 at La Grange Road, according to police.

DOWNERS GROVE

July 29: Miguel A. Fernandez-Serrano, of the 8200 block of Lemont, Woodridge, was arrested at 1:36 a.m. at Springside and 63rd Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to signal, no valid driver’s license and two counts of expired registration. His black Lexus Es300 was towed from the scene to an impound lot. She was released on an I-bond and has an Aug. 28 court date in Wheaton.

July 20: Yolanda D. Hare, of the 6700 block of Maple Drive, Westmont, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. at Springside and 63rd Street. Hare was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC greater than .08. Her silver Infiniti G35 was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on an I-bond and has an Aug. 24 court date in Wheaton.

ELMHURST

July 27: Martin Mikolajczak, 30, of the 500 block of Falmouth Way, Roselle, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his blue Lexus IS 300 for speeding, failure to yield and improper lane use at York and Lake at 2:09 a.m. He was released on bond.

July 25: Brendan Hubble, 25, of the 1000 block of Kufrin Way, Lombard, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled him over for disobeying a red light at York and Palmer at 1 a.m. He was released on I-bond.

HINSDALE

July 25: Benjamin D. Weed, 19, of the first block of East North Street, Hinsdale, was charged with driving under the influence, two counts of disobeying a stop sign and failure to signal when required. Police at 12:31 a.m. pulled Jones over on the first block of East North Street for failing to stop at two stop signs and failing to signal when turning, according to a report. Weed was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and refused a breath test. He was charged and released to appear in court.

LEMONT

July 28: Juan M. Gutierrez, 32, of the 2700 block of 43rd Street, Chicago, was arrested at 7:33 p.m. following a traffic stop at New Avenue and Lockport Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. Gutierrez was issued a Sept. 17 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

WOODRIDGE

July 19: Melvin Rowe, 49, of the 1300 block of Lancaster, Woodridge, was charged at about 7:48 p.m. with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and littering following a traffic stop on the 1300 block of Lancaster Lane.
