DUI Arrests Include Additional of Charges Drug Possession, License Violations, Fleeing

According to police, an Addison woman was intoxicated and in possession of a crack pipe when she drove off the road, and a Villa Park woman was DUI and had a baggie of cocaine.

DUI Arrests

Rafael Gomez, 50, 567 S. Main, Lombard, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police pulled over his tan Jeep Liberty for improper lane use at Route 83 and the Union Pacific Railroad at 2:13 a.m. Jan. 12. He was released on bond.

Marvin Deleon, 29, 1034 E. Division Apt. A, Lombard, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without a license after police pulled over his red Mercury Cougar for improper lane use at North Avenue and Route 83 at 1:01 a.m. Jan. 14. He was released on bond.

Joseph Carr, 23, 332 N. Highview, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over his black Nissan Sentra for expired registration at North and York at 12:58 a.m. Jan. 17. He was released on bond.

Ruben Ibarra, 23, 1711 N. 21st St., Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without a license after police pulled over his gold Pontiac Grand Am for improper lane use at North and Walnut at 2:39 a.m. Jan. 18. He was released on bond.

Kenneth R. Fletcher, 34, 5452 Gingeridge Lane, Rockford, was arrested and charged with DUI and fleeing and eluding after police pulled over his gray Honda Accord for speeding at Spring and Van Buren at 4:17 a.m. Jan. 18. Police said he refused to stop and continued to his parents' house. He was released on bond.

Donna E. Holden, 52, 915 Babcock, Addison, was arrested and charged with DUI, driving without insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after her Chevrolet Malibu ran off the road at 257 N. Route 83 at 5:13 p.m. Jan. 18. Police said she was in possession of a crack pipe.

DUI, Possession of a Controlled Substance

Nicole T. Martinez, 39, 330 E. Elm St., Villa Park, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and DUI after police pulled over her silver Chrysler 300 for failure to yield at North and Villa at 4:25 p.m. Jan. 12. Police said they found a plastic baggie containing suspect cocaine in a jacket in the back seat of the vehicle. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Possession of Cannabis

Cosme Rubio, 19, 913 N. Lincoln, Addison, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled over his white Chevrolet Cobalt for tinted windows at Lake and Grand at 12:55 a.m. Jan. 10. He was released on bond.

Matthew Coffey, 21, 1 Charleton Place, Oak Brook, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis after police said they saw him smoking cannabis in the stair well at the Adelaide Parking deck at 1:23 a.m. Jan. 12. He was released on bond.

Thomas Manning, 26, 213 Terrance Drive, Naperville, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, possession of cannabis and texting while driving after police said his Chevrolet Cavalier was serving in traffic at York and Second at 6:51 p.m. Jan. 13. He was released on bond.

Natasha Parks, 25, 353 Country Club Drive, Addison, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without insurance after police pulled over her blue Oldsmobile 98 for no front plate at Lake Street and Route 83 at 1:05 a.m. Jan. 15. She was released on bond.

Lonnie L. Morris, 28, 691 Spruce, Turlock, Calif., and Cecilia Corona, 30, 704 Crippin, Modesto, Calif., were arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at Extended Stay America, 550 W. Grand Ave., at 2:21 p.m. Jan. 15. They were released on bond.

Mario Castillo, 32, 23 W. Dickens St. Apt. 5, Glendale Heights, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after the Hyundai Sonata he was riding in was stopped for one headlight at Palmer and Schiller at 4:24 a.m. Jan. 19. He was released on bond.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Jacquelyn Garringer, 21, 515 Hyde Park, Bellwood, and Armando Oniveros, 20, 3419 Madison, Bellwood, were arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on the 300 block of Commonwealth at 9:45 p.m. Jan. 12. They were released on bond.
