DUI and a Warrant Arrest, and Thank Goodness There Are No Glass Houses on Fullerton

DUI Arrests

A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, consumption of alcohol, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and disobeying a traffic control device after a stop at 8:12 p.m. July 12 at Pick and St. Charles.  He was released on I-bond to his parents. Three other male teens in the car with him were charged with possession and consumption of alcohol and released to their parents.

Schenique L. Alexander, 34, 101 Park Lane, Duncanville, Texas, was arrested and charged with DUI after a traffic stop at 12:31 a.m. July 13 at Second and West streets. She was released on I-bond.

Warrant Arrest

Daniel Doherty, 27, 621 S. Bryan St., turned himself in at the Elmhurst Police Station at 5:21 p.m. July 13 on a warrant for failure to appear on a aggravated DUI charge out of DuPage County. He was unable to post 10 percent of his $75,000 bond and was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Harassment

A resident of the 100 block of East Fullerton told police that for several days someone has been throwing eggs and rocks at his home. At 12:34 a.m. July 8, someone removed the front hub cap from his vehicle. It was found in his yard.

Suspicious Circumstances

A woman and her daughter on the first block of East North Avenue reported they have been contacted several times on Facebook and by e-mail by an unknown person attempting to be their friend. The daughter told police that her mother used to date a man who was sentenced to eight years in prison for aggravated stalking; he was convicted of stalking her and her mother after they broke up in 2005. He was released from prison in June. Police advised her on getting an order of protection since hers had expired.
