Domestic Battery and Possession of Cannabis Among Recent Arrests
Also, warrant served on woman who failed to appear in court on a prostitution charge.
Domestic Battery
Michelle Beckmann, 28, 531 N. Evergreen, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at her home at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 22. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.
Warrant Arrest
Hannah S. Bergethon, 31, 17 White Place, Bloomington, was arrested after police responded to a domestic call at an undisclosed location at 3:45 a.m. Sept. 20. Police discovered Bergethon had a failure to appear warrant on a prostitution charge out of Chicago. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.
Possession of Cannabis
At 11:07 p.m. Sept. 22, police responded to the 700 block of South Berkley for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers searched the vehicle and found 1.3 grams of cannabis and a smoking pipe. Three people were arrested and taken to the police station. A 17-year-old girl was in possession of cigarettes and was issued a ticket for possession of tobacco by a minor. A 17-year-old boy was issued a ticket for possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of curfew. Brian P. Hennigan, 20, 317 N. Ridgeland Ave., Elmhurst, was issued a citation under city ordinance for possession of cannabis. They all were released on I-bond.
