Cops: Elmhurst Woman Caught With Crack & Heroin

A woman arrested on drug charges during a traffic stop also allegedly had a crack pipe and a syringe.

An Elmhurst woman's dead license plate light cost her a trip to the county jail on felony drug charges, police said.

Michelle Pack, 38, of 279 W. Crescent Ave. was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a rear registration light following a 12:35 a.m. Friday traffic stop near the intersection of North Avenue and Route 83.

The officer who pulled Pack over reportedly smelled pot coming from the car and was given consent to conduct a search. The officer then found a "small tinfoil packet containing suspected heroin, a single crack cocaine rock and a crack cocaine pipe and a syringe," police said.
