Chicago Man Shows Up To Drug Deal Without Any Heroin, Admits Theft Plan: Cops

The Chicago man was supposed to sell $250 worth of heroin, police said.

A drug deal never came off when the supposed seller neglected to bring along his heroin, then admitted he planned to rip off his customer, police said.

The ineffectual alleged drug dealer, Latrone Thomas, 42, of 1112 S. Francisco Ave. in Chicago was charged with attempted theft and possession of open alcohol in connection with the 5:30 p.m. Friday episode. He was released on bond.

Thomas "agreed to deliver $250 worth of heroin," police said. He "showed up with no heroin and admitted to coming with the intention of stealing buyer's money."
