Burglary on North Howard, String of Cars Broken Into on Grand and Bubbles in the Fountain—Again

Residential Burglary
Someone removed several credit cards and cash from a home on the 700 block of North Howard sometime on July 25. Friends of the victim had been visiting and the victim suspects one of the visitors may be a suspect.
Illegal Dumping

Someone dumped brush, gravel and landscape material in the parking lot at Pump It Up, 684 W. Lake St., between 6 p.m. July 18 and 10 a.m. July 19.

While on patrol at City Centre at 7:30 p.m. July 22, an officer noticed soap bubbles emitting from the fountain.
Theft
Someone broke the driver side window of a car parked at Plunkett Park, 186 S. West Ave., between 6 and 8:15 p.m. July 24. Taken was a black leather purse containing a drivers license, Social Security card, cell phone and credit cards. Unauthorized purchases totaling $786 were made at Target.
Someone forced entry into a vehicle parked at Visser Heating, 168 W. Grand, between 3 p.m. July 24 and 9:44 a.m. July 25. A stereo worth about $450 was taken. During the same time period, another stereo and an iPod were taken from a vehicle parked at 160 W. Grand. Loss is estimated at $450. At Temme Auto Trim, 162 W. Grand, police discovered two Sony Xbox speakers worth $150 were stolen from a vehicle between July 22 and 9:44 a.m. July 25.
