Attorney for Woman in 'Excessive Force' Settlement Provides More Details

More details about the $25,000 settlement between the City of Elmhurst and a are being reported by TribLocal.

The attorney for Linda S. Wojat of Homer Glen said the incident does not reflect a pattern of abuse by police. Attorney Shehnanz Mansuri said Officer Arthur Ciszewski slapped Wojat after she "sneezed on him" during an arrest for DUI on April 29.

"He accused her of spitting on him and charged her with battery," Mansuri said.
