Alleged Heroin Overdose Leads to Arrest of Two People

The following arrest information was supplied by the Elmhurst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Two people were arrested after Elmhurst police received a call at 3:44 p.m. July 3.

A witness said they saw two people placing an unconscious person into a silver Toyota Camry on the 400 block of West Butterfield. Police stopped the vehicle, and the rear passenger was found to have overdosed on heroin, according to police reports.

Anthony P. Fratagati, 23, 1312 Regency Grove Court, Darien, and Alyse Kribs, 20, 2483 Kingsley Drive, Naperville, were taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of hypodermic needles. A large amount of drug paraphernalia and five capsules of suspect heroin were located at the scene, police said.

Fratagati and Kribs were taken to DuPage County Jail. Police did not release information about the person suspected of overdosing.
