Alcohol and Cannabis Lead to Arrests in Elmhurst Last Weekend, Jan. 25-27

DUI and disorderly conduct among the charges filed last weekend.

Aggravated DUI

Jonathan Campos, 26, 170 S. Lincoln Apt. 1F, Addison, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol after police pulled over his white Cadillac Escalade for speeding and improper lane use at Addison and North Avenue 1:10 a.m. Jan. 26. Police discovered he was driving with a revoked license. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

DUI Arrests

Patrick Gibbons, 28, 421 E. Church St., Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped his black Cadillac STS for failure to signal at Second and Addison streets at 12:55 a.m. Jan. 25. He was released on bond.


Stephen Vega, 53, 639 W. Ridge, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his red Toyota Celica for improper lane use at St. Charles and Route 83 at 1:20 a.m. Jan. 26. He was released on I-bond.

Sergio Herrera, 44, 117 E. Crest, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with DUI after he was seen pulling his black Chevrolet Cavalier into the parking lot of a closed business at 647 N. York at 1:23 a.m. Jan. 27. He was released on I-bond.

Michael J. Banks, 27, 816 S. Bryan, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his green Cadillac CTS for speeding at Mitchell and Crescent at 4:09 a.m. Jan. 27. He was released on bond.

Possession of Cannabis

Elise C. Talacek, 27, 130 E. George St. Apt. 525, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis after police pulled over her black Cadillac Eldorado for no front license plate at 180 W. Grand Ave. at 3:58 p.m. Jan. 26. She was released on I-bond.

While investigating a call for harassment on the 700 block of South Parkside at 9:32 p.m. Jan. 27, police arrested Daniel Dupuie, 46, 826 Hillside, for possession of cannabis. He also was charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on I-bond.

Disorderly Conduct

Larry Bebo, 53, 677 N. Michigan Ave., Elmhurst, was cited for disorderly conduct/public intoxication at the York Theatre, 150 N. York St., at 2:08 p.m. Jan. 26. He was taken to the hospital, police said.

Open Liquor

Brian Bonds, 22, 523 N. Evergreen, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with having open liquor outside of a bar on the 100 block of North Addison at 12:27 a.m. Jan. 25. Police responded to the bar for a report of a fight and located Bonds outside holding a beer and another drink in a cup, police said. Police reportedly told him to hand over the beer and go back inside the bar, but he refused, police said. He was released on bond.
