Addison Man Smoking Crack & Not Wearing His Seatbelt While Driving in Elmhurst: Cops
The Addison man was taken to jail.
Police officers reportedly spotted an Addison man smoking crack and neglecting to wear his seatbelt as he drove through Elmhurst.
Anthony Wudi, 42, of 28 S. Iowa St. was "smoking crack cocaine while driving" near Roosevelt Road and Route 83 about 9 p.m. Friday, police said.
"A traffic stop was (then) initiated for failure to wear a seatbelt," police said.
Wudi was charged with possession of a controlled substance, failing to wear a seatbelt, disobeying a traffic control device, and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. He was taken to the DuPage County jail.
