Immanuel Lutheran is amazing. So sad to leave this year. We did both the 1/2 day and full day programs. The full day is a working mom's salvation. Before and after care included in the tuition. And the director of after care, Karen Krauss, is the best there is. She had the kids engaged (and happy) at every moment. No babysitting here. And the staff bent over backwards to help me with after care for my older son who wasn't even a student at the school.

Bethel Learning Center is wonderful! Kathy and Kelly are the best, stand at the door everyday and know the names of every child who attends!

Bethel Learning Center is an amazing preschool. So welcoming and warm. Great teachers and staff. We could not ask for a better preschool for our son to learn and explore.

Bethel Learning Center teaches kids in a happy and nurturing environment with attention to personal responsibility and kindness - things that make the kids better people and the world a better place.

Bethel ! It's hard to find a true "learning through playing" curriculum. I can do the worksheets and flashcards at home. Making learning fun on a daily basis is difficult. My son was always so exciting about going to school at Bethel.

York High School Little Dukes All the preschoolers love it and the high school students are amazing with them. My daughter had more fun and learned more here in a few short months than she did in the other Elmhurst preschool she went to for a full year.

I loved Bethel Learnig Center. I am so sad to be done there after three kids and 8 years. The staff and faculty are really wonderful and just love the children. It prepared my kids very well for kindergarten and was fun for them at the same time. A real blessing!

I can't say enough about Immanuel Lutheran. The staff is so accomodating, you feel like you are part of an extended family. Their extended care program has made it possible for me to work part-time and like another reader commented, Karen Kraus is such a blessing! Kelly Burmeister, Beth Baerenklau are fantastic teachers for the 3 and 4 year olds, it's been a fantastic experience for my kids and I can see them growing in their knowledge and spirituality

Buttons and Bows Preschool! It has been in Elmhurst for over 50 years. The teachers are so nurturing and loving in this play-based preschool.

Big lover of Wilson Montessori Academy - where the kids are choosing from very tactile pieces of learning materials to develop academically as well as to develop practical life skills, artistic outlets, and other fun-for-them topics: geography, solar system, plants/animals. "The hand is the chief teacher of the child" (-Maria Montessori. She thought kids' natural curiosity was developed through letting them explore the world around them, and through the use of tools they themselves can manipulate, I find these kids are pretty self-directed after their time at Wilson. I am sad to see it end for each child, and sadder still for me when the last will have completed his run there. I've sent three children there and the oldest two were reading beautifully by the end of the kindergarten year; one more child still to go. When you go in their for parent visitation, the kids -all of them- are concentrating and so calm. It's a very calming atmosphere and the kids are relaxed and happy to be there. They get to wear slippers and bring in a family portrait, which makes them feel special, and the best are the special projects and events: Halloween parade around the nearby business district, churning butter at Thanksgiving (with send-home for your Thanksgiving table), fruit peeling, vegetable cutting for community soup (also with a take home), Field Day at Pioneer Park, and the consummate mother's day project every year!!

Bethel Learning Center, all 5 of my children have gone here. Children are able to play and learn and be in a warm, nurturing environment. The teachers and staff love the children and are happy to see them each day. Playing and learning to play and socialize is one of the most important things are children need to know. Thank you Bethel!

Elmhurst KinderCare - they have fabulous teachers who really care about the children and they have a well-balanced learn/play curriculum. My 3 kids have learned so much and they love going to school.
